Do you want to support Angelman syndrome families and the environment at the same time? Donate your empty drink containers to your local Recycle Rewards program and nominate ASAA as your charity. All funds raised go directly to practical supports for families living with Angelman syndrome, such as parking and meals during hospital admissions, care during times of crisis and welcome packs for newly diagnosed families.

By uniting local community members with individuals, we bring about meaningful transformation in our communities to people who are isolated, vulnerable and are at risk of abuse, neglect and exploitation. But we need your help to sustain and grow our efforts in Citizen Advocacy, creating a stronger, more just society for all.
Almost 50 per cent of Tasmania’s population is functionally illiterate. CWA Online Branch support early intervention to support better literacy outcomes for children by encouraging parents and family members to read aloud to babies and pre schoolers to prepare them for school entry and a life long love of reading. We’re donating books to primary schools and childcare spaces to give Tasmanian kids a good head start on their literacy journey. Reading starts at home!
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition affecting over 100 Tasmanians and there is no cure. Life expectancy is just 57 years of age. Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania is a small charity that supports Tasmanians living with CF and their loved ones. We rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses and community organisations for donations and help with fundraising and grants.These funds are used to buy medical equipment for CF patients and provide valuable financial support to those impacted.

The Hobart Clothing Hub provides free, new clothing to vulnerable individuals. We are key charity partners with Thread Together who redirect new, unsold clothing destined for landfill to people doing it tough. We do this through three main pathways: our Clothing Hub in Hobart, our mobile wardrobe taking clothes to regional areas in Southern Tasmania, and site wardrobes in women’s shelters, homelessness services, RHH and Prisons Tasmania. We partner with over 80 services and government agencies.
IIT’s self-funded Blind Cricket Tasmania statewide initiative is in partnership with Blind Sports Aust, Blind Cricket Aust and under MoU with Cricket Tas. The all-ages, all-abilities, free-of-charge program offers people with a vision impairment to access sport, as well as financially supporting our ‘Tigers’ state players to compete at the National Cricket Inclusion Championships. BCT won CT’s and Cricket Aust Community Partnership of the Year Awards, and a Tas Community Achievement Award.

Launceston United is a local community sporting club creating an active culture for all ages and abilities. The recycling campaign with generate funds towards new equipment to facilitate day-to-day training and game days for all members. This includes ball, bibs, cones, goals etc which are all needed to allow participants to play the sport of soccer.
We are needing to raise funds to undertake capital works on our building, in Lenah Valley, to upgrade and improve disability access. Our current access needs to be enhance/up graded to better suit modern mobility equipment.

With the introduction of Recycle Rewards on the 1st of May 2025 The Lions Club of Deloraine will be encouraging the whole community to pick up those containers and drop them off at the Lions shed at 6 Racecourse drive. Every Community group that gets involved will receive a donation from the Lions Club of Deloraine at the end of each year. Clean up Deloraine and reward our community.
The Lions Tasmania Skin Cancer Foundation is fundraising to build and operate a mobile skin cancer screening facility that can be taken to rural locations within Tasmania and conduct free skin cancer screening services. The facility will be manned by volunteers and supported by the local Lions Club.
In 2025, we planning to expand our successful Big Butt Hunt event into Tasmania. We welcome participants to form groups and tackle the issue of cigarette butt litter through a gamified approach to litter collection. The team who has collected the most cigarette butts during the event will be announced the winner. Funds will go towards promotion and materials, as well as other operating costs.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania is excited to announce our partnership with the Recycle Rewards program, a Tasmanian Government initiative to reduce litter and increase recycling rates across the state. Established in 1891 the Royal Hobart Bowling Club is one of the oldest bowls clubs in Tasmania and is now in need of some new improvements for all members and guests from the community. Our current facility does not have an undercover all weather seating area. The new improvements include expanding our bbq area to include an all weather undercover seating and viewing area for all visitors and guests so they can enjoy watching the game of bowls without the harsh effects of the weather.
You can help save the lives of preterm babies born in Tasmania. Almost all preterm infants born at less than 30 weeks have frequent life-threatening pauses in breathing. Existing monitoring methods cannot detect these pauses with the reliability necessary to prevent their life-endangering effects. With your support, local medical researchers can develop tiny sensors to detect these small baby’s breathing. Please donate today.
We provide care for the companion animals of people escaping domestic/family violence or who are temporarily hospitalised or homeless. Safe Beds is a statewide offering with around 150 participants each year. This unique service requires significant resources to transport animals from unsafe situations into temporary homes safely. Our Safe Beds animals stay with us for between a week and 18 months while their owners get back on their feet. Our only goal here is to reunite people and their pets.

Tamar Canoe Club has served Northern Tasmania for over 35 years, promoting paddle sports and providing recreational and competitive opportunities for all ages. We are developing a Paddle Sports Park at Blackstone Heights to create a safe, year-round venue for canoe polo, slalom, and community paddling. Funds from this scheme will directly support its development, benefiting athletes, schools, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Tassie Mums provides essential baby and children’s items to social service organisation across Tasmania that work with vulnerable and at-risk children. Supporting 2,523 children in 28 (of 29) council areas in 2023/24. Our bundles diverted 160,000 items of clothing from landfill and returned $850,000 worth of goods back into community. Funding will contribute to much needed items like cots, car seats and prams that directly benefit the health and well-being of vulnerable and at-risk Tassie kids.

Donations will help create an indoor cricket facility that will benefit both our club and the local primary school, which currently lacks an indoor gym. This facility will provide a space for cricket training, physical education, and community events, supporting both our club’s programs,the school’s and wider communities activities. At Turners Beach Scout Group we are fundraising to purchase specialised hiking equipment that we will then be made available to our members so that family’s don’t face the added expense of having to buy items that may only be used for a short period of time. Our goal is put the Out back into scouting by making hiking an affordable out door activity for all our your members.
We believe all children deserve the same opportunities in life! Our mission is to support Tassie kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with disability. Funds raised will go towards our state-wide Variety School Breakfast Club, emergency financial relief and equipment grants (such as wheelchairs), all abilities Variety Kids Sports Days, Variety Motor Mouth Camp for non-verbal kids and much more! Last year we granted more than $500,000 reaching over 13,000 kids across Tasmania.
